    3SER FM broadcasting history

     97.7fm 3SER  South Eastern Radio began broadcasting to the area with test broadcasts in 1983. These tests continued until we were finally issued with our license to broadcast full time in July of 1991. We broadcast from our studios every day of the year from 6am till Midnight. However, we have now begun broadcasting 24 hours a day on various nights with youth programming.

    Our broadcast range is undoubtedly one of the most influential, as our transmission tower sits right in the middle of the FASTEST GROWING RESIDENTIAL AREA IN AUSTRALIA. It has been estimated that close up to 200 people move into this and our broadcast area every month. We are a non profit group whose soul aim is to entertain and inform the people of the south eastern suburbs. We have something for everyones taste from country to comedy and some of the best Multi Award Winning Shows around.
